The other day I read a blog post about a successful Internet marketer who got shut down by his autoresponder company without warning.
Permanently.
Killing his income, business and dreams in a heartbeat.
All because he didn’t have a backup of his list.
I can barely imagine how he must have felt when that gut wrenching realisation dawned on him that everything he had built was gone.
Now, before you write off this poor guy as a fool, you should know:
- Account closures can and *DO* happen without warning
- Regardless of the autoresponder company you use
- Even to established marketers who have a “good name” and lots of history
All it takes is a one teeny tiny thing to go wrong…
Like having your AWeber password cracked by a spammer.
Or waking up to find your autoresponder company has suffered a catastrophic service outage.
Far fetched?
Ask the business owners who lost critical data when the Amazon Cloud crashed for 2 days back in 2011.
Or the JetBlue customers who missed the start of their vacations or business meetings because a power outage at a Verizon datacenter grounded all their flights on January 14th last year.
Bad stuff can and does happen.
And even AWeber isn’t immune.
For example, Amazon Web Services went offline at the end of February 2017, knocking out or crippling some of the internet’s hottest names, including Medium, Slack, Trello, Citrix, Pinterest, MailChimp, Zendesk and Apple.
The outage was so bad that even Amazon couldn’t get into its own dashboard to warn the world.
Because of this unrelated outage, AWeber customers weren’t able to access any of the images they had uploaded.
This time it was just images… but can you imagine if your list had been lost or corrupted?
Would you have an up-to-date backup of your list?
And would your business survive if you had to start over and build your list from scratch?
Mine certainly wouldn’t… so that’s why my AWtomator service now does an automatic backup of your AWeber subscribers every day.
It’s not a detailed backup like you’d get from AWeber – just email, subscriber status and key dates – but it’s enough to save your skin (and business) if something bad happens.
The best part is you don’t have to think about it… or “do” anything.
It’s just *ONE* of the many valuable features that makes AWtomator the must-have tool for AWeber users.
And you can get started for free.
So go choose the plan that fits your AWeber subscriber count now.
Then you can sleep soundly tonight too.
